Is there a tv tuner card with pvr that has hdmi inputs so I can go hdmi from Dishnetwork to the tuner card?

I would like to pass my dishnetwork hd receiver to my pc and then to a plasma tv using hdmi with all connections. Is this possible? The pc would act as a dvr (or pvr).|||I believe you're going to need to use the DVR that you can get through Dish. Your plans for piracy are dashed. ;)





That's the reason they don't have HDMI inputs on these kinds of cards. The industry won't allow HD input into a recording device that doesn't play ball with their rules on digital content management. Just get the Dish DVR...|||Actually Bravo 88 you have a lot to learn. HDMI input is simply a way of transfering data, in and of itself it has no security features.





I.E. I can record directly from an HD DVR to a DVD or BlueRay without a problem.





There are now TV Tuners w/ HDMI inputs and will be more in the future.
