Does any one know how I can find a channel listing and numbers for dishnetwork 250 channel package?

Go to dishnetwork.com. Click on "Programming Guides" under "What's on DISH." The middle of the page you'll find "What's Playing on DISH Network Tonight?" Scroll to "America's Top 250" and choose your time zone. You will find the schedule with the channel lineup. The link below lists the schedule for the Eastern time zone.|||if you already have dishnetwork go to the dishhome section and it will show you all the packages.|||---If you have Dish already: Goto channel 100, press 1, then select Dish Network FYI. The numbers will be in there (just scroll down to Packages)

---New Dish customer, download and print this guide (in PDF format):

It varies from state to state.

Will take some time until you edit or repost.

Can a dishnetwork system be installes in mexico if it can how do you point the dish to recieve the signal?

Probably not. The "footprint" of the EchoStar satellites are pretty much confined to the US. If you were near the border, maybe, but central and south Mexico I would seriously doubt. The legality of such a setup is also a bit questionable.

http://www.geo-orbit.org/westhemipgs/fec鈥?/a>|||I think it can be done provided you know where the satellite is.

Whether it's legal or not, i dont know.

It all comes down to actually knowing where the satellite is orbiting (geostationary orbit, so it always stays at the same point in the sky) which would be nearly impossible, unless you had a technician come in, or you had a good telescope, and the patience to scan the night sky for 4 hours, looking for the teeny-tiny, stationary, badly-lit satellite.

Its like Where's Waldo goes to Space.

If there's dishnetwork where you live, then theyre the only ones that can help you.

My cat was telling me that Dishnetwork gets cloudy during rainstorms, is cable better?

maybe you should go have your cat fix your dam dish..if he can talk he can probably do other things that would amaze you..like riding a bike..I mean climbing up a roof!!!|||I don't think you have much to worry about if You have a talking cat, you should have other things on your mind.|||I wonder if that is because there is no sunny spot to sleep in when it is raining. Maybe you should get a heat lamp for the cat and keep Dish Network.|||That's the same thing my goldfish said. Well, he said we completely lose reception during a storm. I had cable for years and had no trouble. So he told me to get cable or he'll protest belly up.|||Ur cat is correct. Therefore cable is better|||Smart Kitty, its right|||Generally so. Cable does not require a dish on the roof which improves your chances, but it's still a possibility this will happen with cable also.|||Well your cat is right too many clouds can block the satellite signal.|||Actually, we used to have Dish Network, but we switched to DirecTV and it is SO much better. The Dish Network used to go out all the time -- and DirecTV doesn't.

Cable sucks.|||i have had directv satillite for 4 years crystal clear picture and yes it went out during storms thats because the signal comes from the satellites in space i switched to digital cable about a month ago got the package with the cable internet have had nothing but problems with the cable picture is fuzzyy and it goes in and out all the time. i apoligize for the long answer but look into your satellite options before going to cable and get the dvr if the satellite goes out you can always watch stuff youve recorded|||your cat told you a lie|||We changed from the Dish to cable, and we like it allot better.... Listen to your cat.. they just know!!|||first ur cat was telling u that granite would be to cold on it's a$$ and now its telling u dish network gets cloudy during rainstorms?

What channel is HDNet on DishNetwork?

383 HDNet Movies

Is ther a way to record from a DishNetwork DVR to a Laptop or DVD recorder?

Usually yes. Just connect the output from the DVR to your DVD recorder instead of directly to your TV, then play back the recorded program.

With laptops (or desktops), you need a TV capture card (like a Hauppage WinTV or ATI TV wonder) unlesss you're lucky enough to have a computer that came with a video capture card already installed.
