How can I change the UHF or IFR signal for my dishnetwork remote controller?

Everytime I turn on my xbox the dishnetwork remote control in the other room doesnt work that. I think it has something to do with the fact that I have wireless controllers for my xbox and that somehow is using the same signal that the remote control for dishnetwork is using so its getting all messed up. Anybody know how I can change the settings on my dishnetwork box to change the signal for my controller?|||you can change the UHF or ir frequency, stand in front of tv with the remote , press menu twice to bring up the system info screen, at the bottom of the screen you will see a tv logo with a boxed number next to it, to change it , press and hold sat, until all 4 top buttons light up , then press any number between 1 and 16, then press # , rec, and rec. then you will see the boxed number change to you selection, highlight done, press select then view live tv , that's it. my tivo remote used turn on our remote controlled air conditioner, so this might fix your problem

heres a link to download instructions for "changing the remote control's address"
