Can I replace a DishNetwork LNB for a Directv LNB?
I currently have a Dish Network dish on my house. I would like to go back to Directv want to know if I can just switch out the LNB's on the actual dish? I understand that I will have to recalibrate the satellite and that's not a problem.|||if your dish network dish is just the dish 500, it might work. it would be awkward, but it wouldn't hurt to try. take the dish nework lnb off, and replace it with the directv lnb. the curvature of the 500 is so that it can collect the info from TWO satellites in the sky, whereas the directv lnb will only collect info from one satellite. i bet it would work, but not as well as if you had a directv dish. good luck|||You need to swap the whole dish.
