New reciever and Smartcard numbers for dishnetwork?

I bought 2 dishnetwork boxes from a flea market and called dishnetwork and they said i could hook them up. well a month later i called back and they said i could not use the boxes because they were under someone elses contract. is there anything i can do with these boxes now to make them work or am i just out of luck? please HELP ME!|||go to a satelitte shop in your erea.he will fix them for you.by programming the cards,but is not legal.
